  3. Thanks Sandy!! They are so funny!!
It is not hard to find here in south Georgia. You can substitute plain meal and add baking powder and a little salt. Doesn't have to be white meal, can be the yellow, use what you have! Hope you enjoy!!

  4. Oh, I love goat pictures! Beautiful babies, you have there. We have goats on our farm, but no babies on the way this year unless we find a Nubian boy. Thanks for the pics.

  7. In my farmhouse dreams, I picture adorable goats like these. I've done a lot of reading and it sounds like they would be pretty managable. Has that been your experience?

    1. Clover is great! She will generally listen to me, she does not like my husband though. I do have to be out there when any kind of maintenance is done on her fence. But it is probably the way that I raised Clover, she is more like a pet than livestock. Clover's purpose was to produce goats. I may have messed up with her by treating her the way that I have, she is a little spoiled.
The boys are unbeliveable, it would be easy to make them pets, but I am trying not to do that. We are wanting to try and keep one for Clover. I had never bottle fed a goat before, these little fellows are very gentle and affectionate!
I did not know that I would enjoy my goats this much, wish I had done this years ago!! I would encourage you to think seriously about it!
