Where I Live - Cool June Morning

This morning the air is cool.

The sun is peeking through the trees.

It is a good coffee morning, and this is a favorite spot for me in the mornings. Complete with the cute little companion, who by the way still needs a home. He was supposed to go with someone who has changed their mind now. In any case, he is an affectionate little fuzz ball!

It is a good morning for coffee, and a good morning to enjoy the sights and sounds around me.

Oh my goodness, it is too early for skinny dipping anyway!

The plants seem to enjoy morning coolness, I love watching them "wake up" and prepare themselves for the day ahead.

  1. Love your porch Melanie and spied your gorgeous ferns when I visited last. I love coffee on the porch. My days have been rushed the last week or so and it hasn't happened BUT this weekend I am planning LOTS of coffee time on the porch. Our mornings are cooler - 70's but our days are really heating up 100°+.

    Blessings!

    1. Thanks Gail!!! Sometimes the weekend is the best time to enjoy that coffee on the porch, things are not as rushed!! Our days are starting to heat up here too, expecting the 100 degree temps this weekend, ugh!!!

  3. Hi Melanie, I just wanted to let you know that I wanted to feature your porch post on Share Your Cup later today. It would not allow me to copy your picture from your post. I tried using the one that you linked up, but when I enlarged it it was very poor quality. So sorry, maybe you could take that off so that you could be featured some other time. If your pics are watermarked I don't think you have to worry about someone saving it.
    Hugs,
    Jann

    1. Perhaps it is for the best if they changed their mind, but he is adorable!!! The little dog is doing great, she realizes that she is in a very different home now!! She has made friends with my other little dog, I predict that these two will be best buddies!!! Thanks for asking Sandy!!!

  5. Your view is gorgeous! It relaxes me just looking at the pictures; I can only imagine how calming it must be to walk there in the early morning hours. As for the little furball, that's how I ended up with 2 kitties. I wouldn't trade either of them now! Thank you for sharing photos of your little slice of heaven.

  6. I love cats, well, all animals really, sorry they changed their minds, but maybe for the best? Someone dumped off my now Kat with 8 kittens, we found homes for the kittens but no one wanted the mama, so she has a happy home with me. ( I call her Kat) reason? I didn't want to name her in case I found a home, and she just started answering to "Cat". Oh well, I am glad I have her, with my other "3" dogs! Thank you for visiting! Hugs, Lynn
