This Week's 5 Facts

My Random 5 for this week. This is what has been happening in my world this week.

1.Week 4 of having the porch "painted". The porch hasn't been painted yet.

2. The Crepe Myrtle's are finally blooming and they are lovely! The tree is loaded with blooms.

3. Lizzie has a date next week for her "special surgery". I know that it will make her life better, but I always feel so sorry for them when they come home from surgery. She will get lots of T.L.C.

4. Little Peep has her own flock now! She has a young Golden Sex Link and a Red with her. We will see how it goes.

5. I lost my wedding rings this week. I have looked everywhere for them, my heart is broken and I am afraid that I will not find them.

  1. I'm so sorry about your wedding rings! They have to be the last place you put them.

Good to have your kitty fixed. It's much better for her truly.

    1. I am hoping! Yes, Lizzie will be happier after her surgery. Little Peet is a unique gal, she has had her share of difficulties, but has thus far managed to overcome them. Thank you for visiting us!!!

  4. if you have a cat like ours perhaps he's hidden them and they'll turn up, I sure hope so, I did recently loose a special earring and it turned up along wall ledge 3 months later-hence the cat remark. Lovely Lizzie shot and Little Peep is cute, what funny names her companions have...fingers crossed that you and your rings find each other.

    1. Anything is possible with Atticus around, he has stolen before but usually not anything shiny. That doesn't mean that it isn't possible! Lizzie and Little Peep are unique gals and are both affectionate. Thanks for the wishes, maybe they will turn up soon! Thanks for visiting!!!

  5. may i please give you a suggestion - i tell my hubby all the time when he misplaces something. i know this is easier said than done but if you will take a moment. sit down, breathe, & relax a moment. when you find you are not thinking about it to much ... retrace your steps... what were you doing the day you misplaced the rings? even write it out. keep that note with you & when you remember something else write it down as well. you could even walk through you steps. just a thought? is your cat into moving your possessions? (i have heard of other cat doing that before.) i sure hope this helps, i totally mean well. i will pray for their save return. big big hugs. ( :

    1. Thank you so much! I have tired retracing my steps, but can't remember when and where I took them off. The suggestion of writing it down makes a lot of sense, I haven't done that but I am going to try it! Thank you so much for sharing it with me!!! Atticus has stolen in the past,, never anything shiny, but with Atticus ANYTHING is possible. He is the resident bad boy. Thank you again for sharing your ideas with me, I appreciate it and maybe that will be the thing that helps me remember where they are! Thanks for visiting!!!

  12. Oh, I'm so sorry about your rings! I hope you can find them. When I lose something like that, I try to get really quiet and close my eyes and visualize the time around when I lost them.

Sweet Lizzie! I know it's hard on you to see her, but the surgery is good for her. I hope she recovers quickly and easily! She's lucky to have you looking out for her. :-)

    1. Thank you Tina! It is frustrating to lose something important, I do need to take the time to do as you suggested instead of letting life get in the way. My way certainly hasn't worked!

It will not be fun to see her feel bad for those few days, she is so sweet. The surgery will ensure that she remains sweet though! Thanks for visiting!!!
