Back Porch Lighting

This afternoon, I was right there, in that chair! It was a lovely warm and sunny Sunday afternoon, so I spent some time there. If you look in the bottom right hand corner, you will notice that I was not alone!

My handy husband hung the back porch light fixture back up.

The lights are simply battery operated tea lights placed in an empty pimento jar. The jar hangs by some florist wire. There are 3 lights there and it gives off a soft light.

  2. Looks like a lovely place to spend the afternoon.
I like the idea of tea lights hanging from the ceiling...even if they are battery operated.

    1. It was Pat, the weather was lovely and warm! I used battery operated lights so that if I walked away for a few minutes, I didn't have to worry about anything happening! Plus when the weather is hot, the last thing you want is more heat from anything! These little tea lights are perfect! Thanks Pat and thanks for visiting!!!
