Reggie and Random 5 Friday

Yesterday I was trying to take pictures of the painting "incident" that occurred, Reggie Mac Dawson was attempting to help me take those pictures. He is the blurry fuzzy thing at the bottom of the picture. It is hard to take pictures while laughing at the antics of this silly feline. Perhaps he has dreams of stardom and this is his attempt to grab his 15 minutes of fame. It is my guess that he wants much more than 15 minutes!

1. Rain is forecast for the last half of the weekend here. Thanks to tropical storm Karen. This is supposed to be a fast moving system, that is a good thing.

2. My husband painted the laundry room this week and began painting the trim. The trim is white, the exact same color as the paw prints in the picture above. The cat decided to try her paw at painting my wood floors. Reggie Mac Dawson didn't do it, he only wanted to be in the picture.

3. Work has begun on the back porch. This is the porch that I dreaded the most. Must remember how happy I will be when it is completed.

4. We may have finally gotten a male duck! Could ducklings be in our future this spring?

5. Fall makes me want to cook. I am seeing all of the yummy looking treats on blogs so I know that I am not the only one wanting to bake.

  1. Cats Rule...we have two. But they're not looking for fame...camera comes out, they shy away.

Oh...is your porch screened in? I would love to have a porch to sit at when the weather cools down. And I love rain!!

I'm new to Random 5 this week, and thought I'd try and get the gist of it all by paying you a visit!! Happy weekend.

    1. Mine are only camera shy if I am trying to get a specific picture! Other than that I have to shoo them out of the way!

  4. Oh ducklings in the Spring would be so much fun :) Well, instead of rain we got snow. I woke up this morning to 2 inches of the white stuff. My son and I are loving it.

Have a lovely weekend, sweet lady. Hugs to you!

  6. I'm so glad Karen is coming through. It's 90 degrees here today - much too hot for October! I'm ready for it to cool down a bit.

  7. Hahaha! Gotta love these fun furry animals. I think the weather turning cooler does give us the desire to bake and enjoy indoor activities...I'm trying not to miss the sunshine too much! ;)

    1. Thanks for the much needed laugh this evening!!! I promise not to send her to your house! Maybe I shouldn't have cleaned those paw prints up. Could have made mega bucks on the kitty painting! Thank you for visiting and for making me laugh this evening!!!

  10. When we did our garage, my husband's buddy had just got the concrete done and my cat ran across the end of it...he has a real deep voice...he came in and said, "Rosie, you going to have to keep that cat up!' He had smoothed it out before he came and told me...if I had known, I would have wanted them left!

    1. I have a few on the front porch that were left when they painted the floor. Fortunately the painter had a good sense of humor about it. Thanks for visiting Rosie!!!

    1. I laughed too, just not right then! They cleaned up easily. Next time Maizie wants to express herself artistically, I would prefer that she use a canvas instead of my floor! Thank you Deb! Glad that you got a chuckle! Thanks for visiting me!!!
