Random 5 Fridays

1. My girls have had enough of winter and are ready for spring! The eggs they are laying now have been the best eggs that they have laid so far. Can't imagine having to buy eggs after having our own chickens, grocery store eggs can't compare!

2. This is the time of year that I want to clean everything and rearrange all of the furniture. I have plans for the weekend. The dining room and kitchen will get a refreshing and some rearranging.

3. We have had a taste of spring this week. The weather warmed a bit and there was a light dusting of pollen on the vehicles. Let the sneezing begin!

4. I am ready for a garden! This time of year makes me anxious for fresh picked tomatoes that are warm from the sun.

5. Spring is the time of year that I always feel that anything is possible. If it can be dreamed, then it can be accomplished!

  4. Spring, did someone say Spring. Oh please tell me it is so. I am so tired of snow here in Delaware and this frigid cold weather. I did hear spring right. What a wonderful experience visiting where someone is talking about Spring. I thought maybe I have been so cold for so long, Spring went extinct. Thank you for letting me visit.

  5. Now you've made me hungry for an omelette with fresh tomatoes and onions from the garden. You've also made me want to clean and re-arrange things, but ... not this week-end! :-) Have a great one!

  9. I am ready for spring and gardening too. Those eggs are so pretty--I don't think I have ever had anything but grocery store eggs--I have always been told fresh eggs are so much better.

    1. They are so much better! The yolks are not pale, they are rich and golden. I do give feed but they also get other goodies. You would love them, wish you were closer, I would share with you Sandy!

I'm looking forward to spring too.. I'm looking forward for a burst of energy as well. I'm hoping it too will come!
I'd love to get energized and organized.
I'd also like to see fresh veggies coming on in the garden.

    1. It would be awful to have to go back after you have had something that you know is higher in nutrtional value and taste. That spring energy is a different kind of energy boost, you will get yours soon! Thanks Pat!
